Description: Teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA-NMLRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting Course. This is an instructor certification course.

Details: Prerequisite: Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills. Prior to instructor training, candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises. The instructor course is presented in two parts: Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and discipline-specific instructor training. BIT is required for all instructor courses but need only be completed at least once every two years (or by instructor’s discretion).
