Description: Introduction to use of the AR platform for self defense

Details: This class will focus on the use of an AR-pattern rifle for personal or home defense. Topics include basic operation, malfunction clearance, zeroing and sight adjustments, accurate engagement of targets at unknown distances, using a variety of shooting positions. Topics are applied specifically to the AR-15, although other firearm types may be allowed (with prior instructor notification).
