Louis Santoni

Louis is a NRA Certified NRA Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, and Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Instructor.

Louis is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired after 20 years of service as a Master Sergeant in Aviation Ordnance. He also served in secondary fields as an Aerial Gunnery Instructor on helicopters, a Drill Instructor and as a Detachment Commander at the American Embassies in Islamabad Pakistan and Brussels Belgium. During his assignments at the embassies, Louis worked and coordinated with several Federal agencies including the State Department, DEA, FBI and Secret Service.

Louis served as a Volunteer Reserve Deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in Southern California. During that time, he received a P.O.S.T Certificate as a Level 1 Reserve Deputy from the State of California. In June 1994, he received a Commendation for his involvement and professionalism during the O.J. Simpson pursuit.

Louis retired in March of 2017 and is dedicating his time to assist people in obtaining their Utah Concealed Firearm Permits as well as Instruct NRA classes to assist others continue their Firearm Training.

Louis enjoys ATVing, Coyote Hunting, Fishing and shooting.

Louis’s NRA Certifications include Range Safety Officer, Basic Pistol, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection in the Home and Personal Protection outside the home. Louis is also working on becoming a Range Safety Officer.
